We understand that planning a wedding can be stressful and you’re probably worried about forgetting some aspect of the big day so we’ve come up with this reminder list of products you might have missed off the list.
Your wedding planner or binder
If you’re planning documents include contracts or vendor contact information for the big day, make sure you plan this in and don’t leave it at home! Our new Personalised Ivory Wedding Binder is the perfect A4 folder to keep all those important planning documents and pieces of paper needed for the big day.
Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue
The old English rhyme is well-known but it’s easy to forget an element in all the planning madness. Traditionally the ‘old’ symbolises continuity, ‘new’ for optimism, ‘borrowed’ for borrowed happiness and ‘blue’ for purity and love. The original rhyme also includes the ending like ‘A sixpence in your shoe’ – a wish for good fortune and prosperity. Our Something Blue Bouquet charms are an oh so sweet way to tick one off the list. Or if you want to hit all the birds with one stone, our Wedding Pin covers them all…sixpence too!
The guest book
It takes more than setting out a couple of pens to make a guest book enticing enough for your guests to sign. If you want something to really catch their eye, try one of our personalised beauties! Why not provide a Polaroid camera and ask them to include a photo alongside their message?
Something to entertain the kids
No matter how much you love kids, you won’t want them disrupting the ceremony or reception so have a plan to keep them occupied…and quiet! Have your Usher hand out colouring or sticker books at the ceremony and create a kids’ corner at the reception. Here’s a few great games and books to keep them busy.
Favours aren’t a necessity on the big day but many people opt for them and your guests will appreciate something they can actually use. These personalised glasses will be useful on the day, work as great place names AND are a great take home gift too!
Thank you cards
After the excitement of the event when the dust starts to settle, it’s easy to forget the thank you notes. We’d suggest sending them no later than two months after your big day. Our full range of cards mean you won’t forget the most important people in your wedding party.
The people that have worked so hard to make your wedding day dreams come true would be delighted to receive a review of their hard work…or products! And here at Oh So we would LOVE to hear what you thought of your products too!
